Privacy Policy

Plain-English version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything, and we delete what we don't need.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

  • Contact information you give us when booking a consult (name, email, phone, city, optional kids' ages, your message).
  • Engagement records — scope of work, invoice, service notes — retained for bookkeeping and support.
  • Temporary install data — settings, configuration notes, and screenshots captured during install. Deleted within 7 days of completion.

3. What we do NOT collect or retain

  • We do not retain customer account passwords or credentials.
  • We do not retain output from monitoring tools (Bark, Aura, etc.) after the install is complete.
  • We do not monitor your family ourselves — any monitoring goes to your dashboards under your accounts.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share contact information.

4. How we use your information

To respond to inquiries, deliver the services you've requested, invoice, and provide ongoing support. Members receive occasional health-check and tune-up communications. Non-members are not added to a marketing list.

5. Website analytics

If analytics are enabled on this website, we use privacy-respecting tools (such as Plausible or Google Analytics in IP-anonymized mode). We do not run behavioral advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.

6. Forms

Our contact form uses a third-party submission service (Web3Forms) that forwards submissions to our email. The service processes only what you enter in the form and does not track you across sites.

7. Data retention

  • Inquiry emails and scheduling records: 2 years, then deleted unless you become a customer.
  • Customer engagement records: retained as required for tax and accounting (typically 7 years).
  • Install notes and screenshots: deleted within 7 days.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect information about children under 13 through this website. Information about children may appear in service engagements with their parents; we treat that information as confidential and delete it per the schedule above.

9. Your rights

Email us to request a copy of information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We respond within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email.
